Gave this book to my dyslexic god-son, he loves it! He has problems creating mental pictures from written words and this has helped him tremendously. The best part is that he was so excited about reading that he blasted through a quarter of the book the same day I gave it to him, a huge feat for him. Hopefully this will help my godson to improve his reading capabilities.
My 8 and 9 years old kids like to read books. They finished reading series such as Judy Moody, Captain Underpants, Stick Dog and similar. So I was searching for the similar types of books and I saw reviews on Middle School books and decided to give it a try.They really liked it. I think now we will finish the books in this series!
This is book #2 in the middle school series . Arrived in perfect condition well made my son has already read this book and you can see it looks brand new . It's been stuffed in a locker , back pack . You get the idea . I highly recommend this book for all middle school age children the main focus in the book is on a boy but I have read throw them all myself and a girl would enjoy it as well . There are 7 books in the whole series
This book is a great book if your into art and reading ! This book is about a boy name Rafe he lives 80 miles away from his grandparents house. But his mom loses her job so she got kicked out of her house , but her mom tells her she can stay as long as you want ! So they move there and Rafe gets worry that the school is going to be very bad ! But it turn out alright for him and art class he was very worry about and getting kick out of school! I give this book 4 stars * But I didn't like that the book doesn't tell you what happens*
I bought this book to read with my 10 year old granddaughter. It was truly cute and lots of fun for the two of us to read together. There are adorable illustrations with lots of thought bubbles to read...and Elizabeth (my grandbaby) read every single one. I could not turn the page until she had the chance to study each illustration. We took turns reading chapters. The story is written in such a way that she was challenged by the occasional "big word" but she didn't struggle and truly enjoyed what she was reading. Lots of fun!
My son who is in 5th grade was looking a new 'diary of a wimpy kid’ style of book to read. He got the first one by his grand mother and he realized it was AR in school. So we ordered ‘Get me out of here’ on Amazon and he read it in a couple of days. I just ordered the 3rd book... His review is: it was good! As good as the first book!
Ordered for my 8 year old, he is now ready to order number 3. Great series for him and my 9 and 11 year olds.
My son loves this series. He is a 12 year old who doesn't love reading, so I am glad we found something he enjoys.
